Your comments prove one thing that I and many other DAers have come up with. SA is composed mostly of DeviantART drop-outs who didn't make it, and teenagers who suck @$$ at art and have nothing better to do than flame each other to make their little meaningless lives feel more important. I'm not about to take a flame from an amateur, boy. Get a life.
I'm not sure if you can really call it flaming if the person being flamed actually sucks. I think in that case it's called "creative criticism". You see, I understand that not everyone likes my art. But dumb asses like you sit themselves on some sort of invisible pedestal and act like everybody that doesn't like their art is somehow a less-cultured individual. Learn to draw, get a life, and grow a brain.
Although, I have to say that your art did stun me. I thought there was nothing lower on the "takes challenge to draw scale" than fanart, but god damn you took it a step further and decided to draw your fanart as centaurs. Good show, good show.
Oh, and by the way, amateur? I seem to be two-years older than you. And drawing in my free time during school counts for more than your "life of drawing", or at least it certainly shows it. MS-Paint, you're funny. My 4-year-old brother draws using MS-Paint, and a lot of his Power Rangers look better than your Invader ZIM fanarts. And DeviantART isn't a school, so you can't drop out.
Crappy poetry, eh? Nice insult, that one hit me deep, really. . .it did. . .it made me want to cry in a corner and cut and cry more and draw as shitty as you.
Sure, my art may be crappy, but I do make a good $100 off of it every month selling commissions, and $450 on a day of fundraising. So, if my art sucks and I make that kind of money, well then damn, I'm gonna keep sucking at art.
I don't post my non-fanart work. Bitches and bastards have stolen anything I've done that's not fanart and ripped it off, so I'm keeping it for a book I'm publishing at some point.
Nice, the fact I'm pwned by a 4-year-old makes me want to eat my own spleen. Thumbs up to your little bro, must be embarassing to have a younger sibling do art so much better than yourself.
Oh for pity's sake, you can drop out of anything. And you damn well know what I ment. For someone two years older than I, you arn't very bright.
Ah the "I'm older than you so I must be better than you' deal. Man, get yourself some art lessons, some brains, and a life yourself. And that's not a flame, now is it?
The fact that you said I'm an amateur and yet I am older than you just cancelled your remark out thats all.
The fact that you make that much money off your artwork (if you can call it that) just says that there are suckers born every day. But hey, what can I say, I don't draw because I think I'm good, I draw out of boredom. I'm studying to be an electrical engineer in robotics so I don't really try to work on art that much.
And now I leave you with a "conversation's done" remark. I'm done with this tiny little battle, but if you post again on my page, I'll keep this going into a full on war. Eat me.
An amatuer is not defined by age, but by time of experience. Which that can lead to a quarrell how many times one draws a day, and so forth.
I don't draw because I think I'm good, either. I draw for money. Money I need to buy food, clothes, and things others take for granted. I don't care if I suck, but people buy what I sell. . .Insult me all you want, don't insult my customers. If you want to go around flaming people, fine by me, but try and do it in some civil manner with less cheap shots.
And as a note, I never did " sit myself on an invisible pedestal and act like everybody that doesn't like my art is somehow a less-cultured individual." I just believe the way you expressed you 'hate' for my 'art' was rather immature for someone of your age, and indeed was classified as a flame.
You really think this mere spat could be a 'war' in comparison to what I've spoken of before this moment in time? Do you honestly think that somewhere in your mind? It's not. It won't be, and it will always remain as a small 'fight' between two 'artists' who had a little free time on their hands. . .But this won't be a war.
But really, I don't know why I even bother reasoning with you.
